Picto-graphy [Working title]
hi, i was just mooching about in the wheatus tag, because i went to see them earlier, and i saw your post, and i was just wondering did you see them in manchester or liverpool?

Manchester, was amazing! I tried to see them in Clitheroe too, but I couldn’t make it sadly.

Some drawings I did in the park of Wheatus and Math the Band while I was waiting for Russ to make his way into town for pre-show cocktails, like the men we are…

I showed the work to the bands and they loved it, and wanted me to send them a scan :D Which I am running late for work to do so now :D I feel bad for not having anything prepared for Corn Mo and MC Lars though…
Looks like I’m getting a bus!

Forget your big venues, Wheatus always put me into fits of pure joy, with their great live set, attention to what fans want, and the amazing support acts they always bring along. This time, the first act was Corn Mo, a very talented hairy man whom I shall be watching closely from now on. Then, the amazingly energetic Math the Band, who are lovely, lovely people. And then MC Lars, who is one of those special few who make me like Hip Hop. Then of course, Wheatus, by no means a one hit wonder, they played nearly every request shouted at them, included ‘Dynamite Satchel of Pain’, a song I never thought I’d hear live.

On top of that, Justine from Math the Band leant down and handed me her broken drumstick at the end of their set, their music is like audio E :D

The zombie roll continues with Nemesis.
I apologise for all these photos rather than scans, I like to update on the move and I don’t even own a scanner at the moment, maybe when I move into my new place in Manchester.

“Like many interesting scientific discoveries, this one was an accident. Sean Murphy, an undergraduate student, was working alone in the lab on a set of faces for one of his experiments. He aligned a set of faces at the eyes and started to skim through them. After a few seconds, he noticed that some of the faces began to appear highly deformed and grotesque. He looked at the especially ugly faces individually, but each of them appeared normal or even attractive. We called it the “Flashed Face Distortion Effect” and wanted to share it with the world, so we put it on YouTube.”

Hey brain, what the hell?

Here’s a picture of me and my friend Libby with Dick Valentine, singer of Electric Six. He is one of my musical heroes, meeting him on his acoustic tour was awesome.
